Rich Nixon
Rich Nixon was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 26 of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
Biography
Nixon graduated from Clayton High School in 1973 and received his B.A. in history and an M.A. in education from North Carolina State University. He is a National Board certified teacher.[1]

Elections for the North Carolina House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election was held on March 15, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016.[2] The candidate filing deadline was December 21, 2015.[3] Incumbent Namon Daughtry (R) did not seek re-election.
