Rich Walker
Rich Walker (Republican Party) ran for election to the Alaska House of Representatives to represent District 32. Walker lost in the Republican primary on August 21, 2018.
Heading into the August 21, 2018, Republican primaries, District 32 was represented by state Rep. Louise Stutes (R), who left the Republican caucus after the 2016 elections and joined a majority coalition that included all 17 Democrats, two independents, and Republicans Paul Seaton and Gabrielle LeDoux. The coalition elected Bryce Edgmon (D) as speaker and Stutes became the majority whip.
Following the formation of the coalition, Alaska GOP Chairman Tuckerman Babcock invited LeDoux, Seaton, and Stutes to leave the party and said they would face challengers in the Republican primaries on August 21, 2018.

Biography
Walker's professional experience includes serving on the Kodiak City Council, serving on the Parks and Recreation Board, and working in the oil industry on Alaska's North Slope.[1]
