Richard B. Davis, Jr. was a county judge of the Bradford County Court in Florida.[1] He was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott (R) on December 2, 2013, replacing Johnny R. Hobbs, Jr.[2] Davis did not seek election to a full term in the seat in 2016.

Biography

Davis received his B.A. from Taylor University and his J.D. from Florida State University.[3] He was a judge for Hamilton County from 2004 to 2007. Davis served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970 and was a colonel with the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps from 1983 to 2005.[3]
