Richard Blanchard
Richard Blanchard (b. May 13, 1937) was a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented the 14th District from 2004 until 2010, and previously served on the Penobscot County Commission from 1986-2004.
Blanchard is retired. He previously worked as a Propane Consultant for Marquis Heating from 2003-2004, Sales Representative for the State of Maine, L.P. Gas Department from 1997-2000, and Sales Representative/Propane Director for F.W. Wells/Victor Manufacturing from 1982-1997.
Blachard is a member of the Old Town Knights of Columbus.[1]

Blanchard lost to James Dill in the June 8 Democratic primary by a margin of 512-329. Blanchard was seeking his fourth term. Dill faced Daniel Phillips (R) in the general election on November 2.

On November 4, 2008, Richard Blanchard ran for District 14 of the Maine House of Representatives, beating Julio Desanctis and Edward Spencer.[2]
