Candidate Connection

Richard Boozel participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on April 5, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Richard Boozel's responses follow below.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

1) Education

2) Property Rights
3) Labor and wages[2][3]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

Making sure a free, thorough, and uniform public education system is provided to all kids as guaranteed by the Idaho constitution. The legislature is failing in this badly. Protecting public lands, and private property rights as the beauty and tourism commerce of Idaho is threatened by out of state drilling companies.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]

Ballotpedia also asked the candidate a series of optional questions. Richard Boozel answered the following:

My father and grandfather. Both men who made it in the world on their own and always put family first.[3]
