Richard Brown (Wisconsin Court of Appeals judge)
Richard S. Brown was the chief judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District II. He has served as a judge for the court since 1978 and as chief judge since 2007.[1][2] Brown retired from the bench on August 1, 2015.[3]
Education
Brown received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in 1968 and his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1971. In 1984, he earned an LL.M. in judicial process from the University of Virginia.[1]
Career
Before he joined the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, Brown worked as an attorney in private practice and served as an assistant district attorney in Racine County.[1]
