Richard Caschette
Richard Caschette was a judge for the Eighteenth Judicial District Court of Colorado. He was appointed to this position by Governor Bill Ritter in 2008.[1] He was retained in 2010.[2] Caschette retired on July 1, 2016.[3]
Education
Caschette received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his law degree from Syracuse Law School.[1]
Career
Caschette has worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Denver and then a First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado. He also worked as a private practice lawyer for over 20 years, dealing with cases involving complex business litigation, securities and healthcare fraud, professional malpractice, products liability, employment, and white collar criminal defense. He was appointed District Judge in 2008.[1]
