Richard Cathcart
Richard Cathcart is a former Republican member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 9 from 1978 to 1982 and 1998 to 2010. He served as minority leader.
Biography
Cathcart's professional experience includes working as associate vice president of university operations and director of purchasing and general services at Delaware State University.[1]

Cathcart did not seek re-election to the 9th District seat in 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Cathcart won re-election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 9th District, defeating Rebecca Walker (D). Cathcart received 7,436 votes in the election; Walker received 6,375.[2] Cathcart raised $78,758 for his campaign; Walker raised $30,632.[3]
