- I am a bold leader. I do not sit quietly by. I handle problems aggressively- finding common sense solutions.
- I will have only one permanent home and it will be in the District. I will only be in Des Moines when required-otherwise I'll be visible and active throughout District.
- I will respect the taxpayers- guarding their money as if it were my own and responding to their communications promptly and directly,
I also care deeply about mental health services for our people- most particularly the young. I fight against unfunded mandates that cripple city and county governments and do not deliver essential services.I also consider the protection of the unborn and the Second Amendment to be vital issues.
