Richard Goldenhersh
Richard P. Goldenhersh was a justice on the Illinois Fifth District Appellate Court. He joined the court in 1988.[1] He was retained by voters in 2008 to a term that would have ended on December 2, 2018.[2][3] He retired from the court in 2017.[4]
Education
Judge Goldenhersh received his A.B. degree from Washington University in 1966 and his J.D. degree from the same school in 1969.[1]
Career
Judge Goldenhersh worked as a private practice lawyer for seven years before he was appointed Associate Judge of the 20th Circuit Court in 1975. He was promoted to Circuit Judge in 1982 and he served in this position until he joined the Appellate Court in 1988.[1]
