Richard Gonzalez (Texas)
Richard Gonzalez was a Democratic candidate for county clerk of El Paso County, Texas. He was disqualified from the ballot because his check for the filing fee was returned by his bank. Gonzalez said the check did not go through because a day after he filed, his wife lost her debit card a put a hold on their account.[1]
