Richard Gordon (Arizona)
Richard E. Gordon is a judge for Division 8 of the Pima County Superior Court in Arizona. He assumed office in 2009. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Gordon ran for re-election for the Division 8 judge of the Pima County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Gordon was appointed to the superior court by Gov. Jan Brewer (R) in June 2009 to succeed Judge John Davis.[1]
Biography
Richard Gordon earned his B.S. from Arizona State University and his J.D. from the University of Arizona. [2] Prior to Gordon's appointment, he worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Gordon also practiced privately with the law firm Snell & Wilmer and as an assistant attorney general.[3]
