Richard Harvey Chambers was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Richard Chambers was nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on April 6, 1954. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 27, 1954, and received commission on April 30, 1954. Chambers served as chief judge from 1959-1976, and assumed senior status on December 31, 1976. His service ended with his death on October 21, 1994.[1]
