Richard J. Billik, Jr.
Richard J. Billik, Jr. was a judge of the Cook Circuit 4th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] He was elected to the bench in 1992 and retained in 1998, 2004 and 2010.[2] He retired from the court in 2012.[3]
Education
Billik earned an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in 1974. He went on to receive his J.D. there in December of 1976.[4]
Career
Prior to his judicial election in 1992, Billik was a trial attorney with the Department of Justice and a special assistant district attorney in Washington, D.C. He later worked in private practice in Washington, D.C. and Chicago.[2]

Billik was retained in 2010, receiving 74.78% of the vote.[5]
Billik was recommended for retention by the Judicial Performance Commission of Cook County.[2]
