Bourgeois received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.[2]

Career

Prior to becoming a magistrate, Bourgeois was an assistant U.S. attorney and deputy criminal chief in Baton Rouge. Before that, he was a commercial litigation associate with Latham and Watkins.[2]
