Richard Lavery

Richard Lavery is a judge on the Third District Court in Wyoming. He was appointed by Governor Matt Mead in May 2012 to succeed Jere A. Ryckman, and he was retained by voters in 2014.[1] His current six-year term expires on January 3, 2021.[2]

Lavery received both his bachelor's degree and J.D. from Creighton University.[4]
Career
Prior to joining the Third District Court, Lavery was a judge for Bear River, Evanston, Lyman, and Mountain View Municipal Courts.[1]
