Richard Harrington Levet (1894-1980) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Levet was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on January 26, 1956, to a seat vacated by John Clark Knox; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 6, 1956, and received his commission on March 8th. Levet was succeeded in this position by Morris Lasker. He assumed senior status on July 1, 1966, and served until his death on May 3, 1976.[1]
