Richard M. Cappelli is a judge of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was elected on November 5, 2013 for a term that will expire in 2023.[1] He was a judge for the Delaware County Magisterial District from 1992 to 2013.[2]

2013

Cappelli ran for election to the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.

Primary: He received 33.7 percent of the vote in the Republican primary on May 21, 2013. He also cross-filed as a Democrat, but lost that primary with 12.2% of the vote. 
General: He was elected in the general election on November 5, 2013, with 28.1 percent of the vote. Steven Chanenson, William Chip Mackrides and Nancy A. Walker were also on the ballot, competing for two open seats.
