2011 election

Koweek lost to Beth Cozzolino in the primary race for the Columbia County Court on September 13, 2011. Though he lost the primary, he competed against Cozzolino again in the general election on November 8, 2011.[3][4] Koweek won the general election, garnering 55% of the vote.[5]
Koweek was also re-elected to the Hudson City Court. He is endorsed by the Democratic Party.[6][7]

The Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commissions has rated Koweek as Qualified.[8]
