I was born and raised in Hot Springs. The entire mcgrew family including his wife Debbie, three children and three grandchildren live in district 22. I ran a successful small business for over 30 years and currently serve as a Republican justice of the peace. I am Rotarian, serve on the board of the Salvation Army, Champion Baptist CollegeI and served eight years on the city planning commission. I believe that the role of a representative is to listen and represent the people. As an Arkansas state representative, I will listen to the thoughts and concerns of the voters in my district. As a strong supporter of the constitution I will reference it as a guiding document for votes I take. I am 100% pro life. As a Christian, father And grandfather, I believe life begins at conception. I am also a strong supporter of our Second Amendment rights. As a gun owner and conservative I will fight to protect our rights. I am blessed to have had a great career and now I want to go to Little Rock to serve the people of my district. For more information please visit Mcgrew for 22.com

The legacy I would like to leave is that in order to be successful in life, you have to put God first.
Starting a small business from scratch and building that business while raising a family was a great challenge.
I do believe it can be helpful. I plan to use my experience as Justice of the Peace to serve as Arkansas State Representative.
Making sure we have a competitive environment when it comes to economic development and growth.
Open communication. It is essential that every public servant understands their duties and their roles as defined by the constitution.
I absolutely believe it is crucial to build relationships with other legislators. As each legislator specializes in different areas, it is very important that we share that communication in order to make educated decisions to the benefit of our great State of Arkansas.
I am very interested in the health, welfare and labor. Specifically fighting the war against drug addiction.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Arkansas

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
