Richard Wellington McLaren (1918-1976) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

McLaren was nominated by President Richard Nixon on December 2, 1971, to a seat vacated by Julius Hoffman; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 2, 1971, and received commission on January 26, 1972. He served the Northern District of Illinois until his death on February 25, 1976.[1] McLaren was succeeded in this position by Stanley Roszkowski.
