Richard Miranda
Richard Miranda (b. March 6, 1956) is a former Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 13 from 2011 until his resignation in February of 2012. He previously served in the Arizona State Senate from 2003 to 2011 and was Minority Whip from 2005 to 2011.
Biography
Miranda earned his diploma from North Phoenix High School in 1974. His professional experience includes working as a consultant and legal manager for the Miranda Law Firm, assistant to the Mayor of Phoenix, Executive Director for the Centro Adelante Campesino and Migrant Health Director for the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers.

Miranda won election to the district 13 seat of the Arizona House of Representatives. He and incumbent Anna Tovar won unopposed in the November 2 general election.[1][2]

In 2008, Miranda was re-elected to the Arizona State Senate, District 13. He ran unopposed and finished with 23,816 votes.[3] Miranda raised $14,912 in campaign funds.
