I have an Engineering degree from Cornell University and a finance MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. My wife and I have been married for 51 years and have raised 5 children and have 15 grandchildren. After a successful 30-year management career in international business which included our family living in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London, we retired to Alstead N.H. in 2000. Over the past 22 years we have been actively involved in community affairs. I served as a member of Alstead’s Planning Board for over 9 years and supported my wife’s efforts for 10 years as Chair of the Alstead Conservation Commission. As someone who has strong interest in education, I have also been President of the Fall Mountain Scholarship Fund, Inc. which has provided scholarship aid to over 1,800 Fall Mountain graduates since 1969 to pursue further education beyond high school. I am a life member of the Alstead Historical Society, a Life member of the Elks and a Life member of the NRA. My priorities are my family, my community and my country. I am a strong believer in personal freedom and responsibility, government transparency, accountability, and parent’s rights.
  • I am a strong believer in parental rights. It is the God-given right of parents to raise their children and that does not stop at the classroom door.
  • I am a passionate defender of the Constitution especially the 1st and 2nd ammendments.
  • I firmly believe and support law and order. I strongly support law enforcement.
I am passionate about education, smaller government, lower taxes and less government regulation. I believe that smaller government is more accountable to the people and results in lower taxes, more personal freedom and greater economic growth.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in New Hampshire

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states.  To contribute to the list of New Hampshire scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
