Richard Nuss

Richard J. Nuss was a circuit court judge for the Fond du Lac County Circuit Court in Wisconsin.[1] He was first appointed to the position in 2002 by Governor Scott McCallum and was elected in 2003. Nuss was re-elected in 2009 and 2015. His term will expire in 2021.[2][3]
Nuss retired from the court at the end of his term on July 31, 2021.[4]
Education
Nuss earned his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 1966, and his J.D. from the same school in 1972.[2]
Military service
Nuss was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 to 1969.[2]

Nuss was re-elected without opposition to the Fond du Lac County Circuit Court, Branch 3 in 2015. Wisconsin's general judicial election was held on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates was January 6, 2015.[5][3]
