What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

1. Public safety 2. The appearance of District 2 3. A better relationship between the City and District 2

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Crime prevention, due to the rise of crime in District 2.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I look up to those that fight for what they believe in and never give up!

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

I believe it's important for elected officials to remember why they wanted a career in politics. Put your constituents first! Be their voice at all times and not just when it's convenient .

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

My determination is probably my top quality. Once I set a goal, I will stop at nothing to achieve it. I'm caring, considerate, humble, and most of all honest!

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

I believe the core responsibility is putting your constituents first!

What legacy would you like to leave?

At the end of the day, I want nothing more than my family to be proud of me.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

The first historical event that I remember in my lifetime was the Oklahoma City bombing. I was seven years old when it happened.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

My first job was working as a dish washer at a local restaurant. This job lasted throughout the summer.

What is your favorite book? Why?

A Wrinkle in Time, because this was the first book I remember reading as a child.

What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?

My favorite thing in my home is my computer. Being a student, I've had the opportunity to write many essays, and my computer holds every paper I've written. Plus, as a student I spend a large amount of my life in front of my computer.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo

What kind of skills or expertise do you believe would be the most helpful for the holders of this office to possess?

Negotiating and listening!

Do you believe that it’s beneficial for holders of this office to have previous experience in government or politics?

Not having experience can give you an edge over someone who does. I believe without experience, one can learn more, ask questions, and take chances. The best thing about being an inexperienced elected official, is having an opportunity to learn how to be a great elected official!
