Richie is the CEO of Clear Communications Inc. A local Telecommunications firm with its roots spanning back in the New Orleans area over 50 years. His background includes decades of service in the private sector, non-profit, law enforcement and political ventures. While his ventures have grown to be a global presence, Louisiana will always be his home. Richie and his wife Lisa have three children. Michele Marie Sanderson, Richie Sanderson III and Lana Louise Sanderson.
  • Forget politics. Louisiana needs a commissioner with a keen awareness of modern challenges to the utility sector. This involves having working knowledge of the most basic elements of business, balancing a budget and preparing for the future.
  • This office cannot be for sale. You cannot profit from entities you are tasked with regulating. Just common sense.
  • The nest generation is counting on us. Time flies as they say! The decisions made right now are crucial to tomorrows viability as a good place to live, rase children and have a business. Again, common sense.
I believe renewable sources of energy, and safe clean coal is the key to our energy needs and continued energy independence. I also believe the deregulation in the Telecommunications field has left some serious areas that need attention. The "do not call list" is a prime example. Boasted as a way to stop the harassing robo calls... How did that work out for you? Total failure. We have bigger problems coming our way. Stay tuned for solutions from someone who has been there. Career politicians are NOT the answer.
