Secula was defeated by incumbent John D. Dingell, Jr..[1] Secula ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Michigan's 12th District. Secula ran as a Libertarian candidate. He faced Cynthia Kallgren (R) and Democratic incumbent John D. Dingell, Jr. in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
