Richard R. Stalbrink Jr. is a judge for the LaPorte County Superior Court of Indiana. Stalbrink Jr. was first elected to the court in 2008, and took office in January 2009.[1] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[2]

Stalbrink ran for re-election to the LaPorte County Superior Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][3] 

2008

In 2008, Stalbrink Jr. ran for the second superior court of LaPorte County, Indiana. In the Democratic primary he ran against two other opponents, John Lake and Kevin McGrath, Stalbrink Jr. won with 46% of the vote. In the general election Stalbrink Jr. defeated Republican opponent Thomas J.Rutkowski, receiving 66.3% of the vote.[1]

Stalbrink Jr. earned his undergraduate degree from Ball State University and his J.D. from Valparaiso University.[4]
