Richard Velasquez
Richard Velasquez is a judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. His current term ends on January 1, 2037.
Velasquez (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Education
Velasquez received his J.D. degree from the City University of New York School of Law at Queens College.[1]
Career
Velasquez began his judicial career in 2006 when he was appointed to the New York City Civil Court of Kings County. In 2009, he was elected to the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term.[1]
