Visotcky ran in the 2009 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 9. Visotcky was bracketed with Robert Rue. They were defeated by Republican incumbent Brian Rumpf and DiAnne Gove (R) in the general election on November 3, 2009. Visotcky and Rue were unopposed in the Democratic primary election on June 4, 2009.[2][3]
