Richard W. Pollack
Richard W. Pollack is a former associate justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court. He served on the court from 2012 to 2020. In June 2012, Governor Neil Abercrombie (D) selected Pollack as the successor for James E. Duffy, Jr. The appointment was unanimously confirmed by the Hawaii Senate on June 29, and Pollack was officially sworn in on August 6.[1][2][3][4] Pollack resigned from the court when he reached the mandatory retirement age of 70 years on June 30, 2020.[5][6] To learn more about this vacancy, click here.
Education
Pollack earned a B.A. with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a J.D. from the Hastings School of Law.[7]
