Richard Waisanen
Richard Waisanen (b. August 5, 1945) was a Democratic candidate for District 33 of the Alaska House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 24, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.
Waisanen was a candidate for the Alaska House of Representatives in 2008.
About
Waisanen earned his B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 1967. He went on to receive his M.S. in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, Superior in 1974.

Waisanen was unopposed in the August 24 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Republican Kurt Olson in the November 2 general election.
