I am Richard White a Kentucky State Representative for District 99, Elliot, Lewis, and Rowan Counties. I am a blessed man of God as I have a beautiful wife, Valerie, and four wonderful children, Jason, Betsy, Suzanna, and Emily. I support President Trump 100% and his commitment to economic growth for Kentucky. And, as a businessman of over 45 years, I understand how to create jobs, and the role education plays in our global economy. As a Pro-Life Christian, I stand up for our constitutional rights, the second amendment, freedom of speech, and religion. And, in these unprecedented times, economic recovery is key.
  • I am 100 Pro- Life.
  • I support the Second Amendment.
  • I am 100% involved in economic recovery from the COVID pandemic.
1. Stricter abortion laws to ensure the rights of the born and unborn.

2. Strengthening Kentucky's right to keep and bear arms
3. Bill to increase the per-student allocation sent to schools, money to
implement the school safety act, and increased investment in
postsecondary education.
4. Amending the KRS 214.036, the Government should not be able to force
vaccines on the people.
5. BR 130 will amend KRS 39A to create a system of checks and balances
among three coequal branches of government, to ensure that never again are

the citizens of the Commonwealth left without a voice during a state of emergency
Knowing the needs of your district and the Commonwealth of Kentucky is very important for any elected official. I also believe that having open lines of communication and direct involvement with constituents is crucial.
Economic recovery due to the COVID pandemic is a huge challenge for Kentucky and America. Kentucky, especially in rural areas, continues to struggle with infrastructures needed to attract and maintain businesses that provide good-paying jobs, i.e. better roads and internet access. Educational funding is needed to ensure we have a work-ready workforce.
I currently serve on the Natural Resources & Energy Committee,
Education Committee, and Small Business & Information Technology Committee.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Kentucky

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
