Biography

Richard Windmann was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned a bachelor's degree from American States University in 1987. His career experience includes working as a computer engineer. He has been affiliated with the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Survivors of Childhood Sex Abuse.[1]

My name is Richard Windmann, and I am a resident of Texas, and live in Burleson, Johnson County. I am a man of Faith, and I hvee three children and three grandchildren. I am a Computer Scientist and work for one of the largest Cybersecuirty companies in the world. I am also the co-founder and President of Survivors of Chilldhood sex Abuse (SCSA), a Nonprofit 501(c)(3), http://www.scsaorg.org that advocates for and supports adult victims and survivors of childhood sex abuse.
  • Child Safety and Protection - We need to totally eliminate the statute of limitations, both civil and criminal, for any sex crime that is perpetrated against a child. We need to strengthen sentences for these crimes and have tighter sentencing guidelines.
  • Border Protection - Texas needs to employ any and all legal means at its disposal to protect our border with Mexico, in the absence, inability or unwillingness of the United States Federal and Mexican governments to do so.
  • This is where the Texas State lottery money goes. Tell me what's wrong with this picture? The Lottery Commision is currently under review by the Sunset Advisory Commission. Veterans programs only get 0.3% of that huge pie. Shameful.

Regarding the elimination of the criminal statute of limitations for any crime involving child sex abuse, to include absolute sentencing guidelines and harsher sentences.

It is a must, that why I aspire to server on the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission.
Any time a citizen enjoys a larger voice in politics, it can only lead to good things for the state.
