A Richland Township Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Wyandot County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the Township of Richland to replace a property tax of 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five (5) years in order to provide for the current expenses of the Township. [1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Richland Township for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
