Biography
After more than 21 years on active and reserve duty in the United States Army, Rick Bryan retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Throughout his life, Rick Bryan has dedicated his career to serving others.
In addition to his military service, Rick Bryan spent 25 years in senior level management with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Totes, and Jergens/Kao Corporation. After retiring from the private sector, Rick Bryan embarked on a new mission of helping others as Executive Director of a nonprofit that serves people affected by cancer.
During this time, Rick Bryan also ran and won a seat on the Blue Ash City Council and has served there for 18 years including service as Mayor and Vice Mayor. Despite the recent downturn in the economy, Blue Ash has remained successful, has retained and attracted businesses and jobs, completed major voter approved capital projects and without ever putting a levy before voters. Rick Bryan attributes this success to excellent planning and leadership on the part of Blue Ash City Council and administration.

His political activism led him to serve as founding president of the Northeast Hamilton County Republican Club, co-chaired the founding of the Republican Party’s TCV Committee, and he has served on the Central, Executive and Policy committees of the Party.
The grandson of immigrants and the son of factory workers, Rick Bryan funded his college education through scholarships and hard work.
