Rick Elmore
Rick Elmore was a judge on the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He was elected to this position in November 2002. He retired at the end of his current term on December 31, 2018.[1]

Judge Elmore graduated from Guilford College in 1974 and received his J.D. from the N.C. Central University School of Law in 1982.[2]
Career
Before he received his law degree, Elmore worked for the N.C. Department of Correction and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He has also served on the Guilford County Planning Board and the Guilford County Board of Elections.[2]
Career
Judge Elmore practiced law in Greensboro from 1982 to 2002 before joining the court of appeals. His practice focused on the areas of criminal defense and real property law.[2]
