Biography
Jennings earned a B.S. in criminal justice from the University of Maryland. His professional experience includes playing professional football and working as the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Fathers and Families in Sacramento.[1]

The city of Sacramento, California held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary election for District 7, the general election was called off. Rick Jennings defeated Julius Cherry and Abe Snobar.[2][3]
