Biography
Rick Krajewski earned a B.A. in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013.[1][2] Krajewski's career experience includes working as an organizer for Reclaim Philadelphia.[3]

- Home is a human right and every person should have safe, accessible, sustainable, and permanently affordable housing. Our community is threatened by a racist housing system that concentrates poverty for the profit of big developers. Homelessness is a moral crisis that we have the resources to solve. We need bold leadership to make Pennsylvania a national model for a housing system that prioritizes people over profit, a model that will stand up against practices that create intergenerational poverty, and ensures that homes are safe and affordable.
- Philadelphia has become a national leader in criminal justice reform. With the election of Larry Krasner as District Attorney, the decarceration movement has pushed a transformation that's led to our jail population being its lowest in 20 years. The system has been criminalizing poverty, profiling black and brown communities, and creating a feedback system that never lets go of people with a criminal record. We are finally undoing the harm caused by the "tough on crime" era of our past. This is a historic moment for our city and country, but there is more that must be done. We must continue to win big in the areas of sentencing reform, diversion programs, and holistics approaches to violence in our communities.
- Pennsylvanians need a Green New Deal. A Green New Deal is the path to realize our basic human rights: to clean air, clean water, clean infrastructure, healthy food, renewable natural resources, and a stable and livable climate. The Green New Deal is not a specific policy, but a recognition that our three crises are inseparable, and a commitment to addressing them all at once. We can do this by creating jobs and empowering workers, halting climate change, reversing environmental injustice, caring for the natural world, and investing in public goods and services that working people need to thrive.
