Richard Mirabito
Richard Mirabito is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 83 from 2008 to 2014. Mirabito was a candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2006 but was not elected.
Biography
Mirabito earned his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1978 and his J.D. from Boston College Law School. His professional experience includes working as a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Malcolm Muir, as a union organizer, as court counsel for the Supreme Court of the Republic of Palau, as a landlord and an attorney.

Elections
2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Richard Mirabito was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Jeff Wheeland was unopposed in the Republican primary. Wheeland defeated Mirabito in the general election.[1][2][3]
2012
Mirabito ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 83. Mirabito ran unchallenged in the Democratic primary on April 24 and defeated Harry Rogers (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
2010
Mirabito won re-election to District 83 in 2010. He had no primary opposition and defeated Republican Dave Huffman in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[6]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Mirabito won election to District 83 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He received 14,057 votes, defeating Republican Dave Huffman (10,285).[7]
