I am a Kansas resident who wants to do what's best for his state. I believe that elected officials should be willing to work cooperatively, collaboratively and transparently with their constituents.
  • Bring Ranked Choice Voting to Kansas, crush the duopoly and allow for greater representation for the people of Kansas
  • Restore Kansas' image by making this a state people can afford to live in and are proud to live in.
  • Rescue children from abuse and trafficking
My greatest passion is in electoral reform and in making politics a collaborative effort that includes everybody. For far too long Republicans and Democrats have had a stranglehold on our political culture. They have worked hard to actively keep out third party voices by constantly moving the goalposts to make it impossible for anybody else to have a voice in our democracy. They create their own drama, fear and chaos in order to retain power year after year. They feed off of their constituents worst fears and emotions in order to manipulate them into voting for them.

We can fix this by instituting Ranked Choice Voting in all statewide elections. This provides incentives to independent candidates to run and will create a more positive vibe all around.

Another area that I am passionate about is in reforming the DCF to work harder and smarter in order to protect the most vulnerable among us. If elected I will work to pass Adrian's Law which will create positive change by holding more people accountable when children are abused within their own home.
Trustworthy, Creative, principled AND pragmatic, willing to listen, humble, transparent, willing to learn
Creative outside of the box thinker. I am a real problem solver and will listen to people on all sides of the political aisle.
To listen to their constituents, work with them, collaborate with them and make decisions that will benefit them in the short and long term.
I would like to be known as a leader with unifying qualities. A legislature who looked beyond short term ideas in favor of long term solutions.
Not at all. I think given the nature of our democratic republic, it is important to gather people from all backgrounds to participate in government roles. If it takes a village to raise a child then it must take a nation to defend a constitution.
Retaining citizens and raising revenue. It will be hard to stay competitive if we continue to lose wide swaths of our population, particularly in western Kansas.
A collaborative one. Each party must understand that they were voted by a unique subset of the populace and their ultimate job is to the people in the state to secure their liberty in the short and long term.
Yes. As a third party candidate I will make it my mission to act as a bridge between the two parties. It's time we put politics aside and work for the people of Kansas, not the party bosses.
I favor a nonpartisan independent review of all redistricting options available.
I'm not sure what it would look like being a Libertarian but I most certainly will pursue any leadership role available to me.
When I walked with a group of activists demanding justice for a little girl who died in my county, I heard stories from people who knew her and the family directly. That moment had an impact on me because it was a reminder that real emotions are involved.
