Biography
Rick Paxton graduated from Oak Ridge Military Academy in 1983. Paxton served in the United States Navy and the United States Coast Guard from 1986 until 2010. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Appalachian State University in 1995, a master's degree in homeland security from American Military Academy in 2013, and a doctorate of business administration from Northcentral University in 2018. Paxton’s career experience includes working as a homeland security professor with Everest University, as the host of 2nd Rights Protectors of Freedom with WMYT 106.7 FM radio, as the president and CEO of SafeSurroundings, and as an adjunct professor at Campbell University.[1]
