Rick Rice is the national committeeman for the Republican Party of Minnesota. He was elected to a four-year term in May 2016 and succeeded Chris Tiedeman following the Republican National Convention in July 2016.[1][2]
Rice was previously a Republican candidate for District 44B, Minnesota House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010 state legislative election.[3]

Rice ran for election to the District 44B seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by Ryan Winkler (DFL) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
