I’m Rick Taylor. I’m a Democrat running to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate.

I am not a professional politician. I am a working-class citizen.

But this campaign is not about me. It’s not about my opponents, partisan politics, or personal allegiances. This campaign is about YOU – regular, working-class Ohioans.
We must address the income inequality that has hobbled middle-class growth and stolen the American dream from so many. Income inequality and a middle-class disintegration that is directly parallel to massive tax cuts for the rich. We must undo the last 50 years of income redistribution the same way they undid the redistribution we obtained with the new deal under FDR.
Empathy, knowledge of our own history and learning the lessons of the past
To uphold their oath to protect and defend our Constitution
I’ve worked a gamut of various jobs, from fast food to retail, from welder to factory worker, from business manager to small business owner. Through it all, I’ve witnessed the disintegration of the working class. Jobs were lost, wages were cut, benefits were eliminated. Our debt increased and our communities crumbled… all while our political leaders looked the other way.
Transforming our economy by actually creating jobs for the working people instead of promises and political rhetoric by rehabilitating the coalition of the working class.
There must be term limits established for all elected offices, especially in the House and Senate. Isn't it ironic that the only reason the Presidency has term limits is because FDR won election 4 times making him the most popular President in history BECAUSE he taxed the wealthy ?
We have to enact exemptions to the filibuster, As much as we hear about ending the filibuster, if we do, it will be weaponized and used against us in the future. Have we not learned our lessons ?
Whether their commitments are to the American working class...the MAJORITY...and not to special interest and political donors
Judicial, Ethics, Ways and Means, Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Joint Committee on Taxation
by their previous rulings, and their commitment to the Rule of Law and whether or not they are committed to representing the American Citizens as opposed to Capital interest.
That depends on where their allegiance lies.
