A Ridgemont Public Library Current Expenses Tax Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hardin County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Ridgemont Public Library District to renew a property tax levy of 0.5 mills ($0.5 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order fund current expenses.[1]

Text of measure

Language on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Ridgemont Public Library for the purpose of current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
