Rigo Sariñana ran for election against A.C. Pruneda and Petra B. Ramirez in the general election on May 10, 2014. He ran as part of the Mark of Excellence slate with Place 1 candidate Marcie González Acosta and Place 7 incumbent Oscar Martinez.[1]
