Rita McNeil Danish was a judge for the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations/Juvenile Division in Columbus, Ohio. She was appointed to the court by Governor John Kasich, effective July 14, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Jim Mason.[1] She was defeated in her bid for re-election in 2014 and stepped down when her term ended on January 1, 2015.

General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 44.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Eddie Pfau and James W. Brown. [2] 

Education

McNeil Danish received her undergraduate degree from Howard University and her J.D. degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.[1]

Career

Before her appointment to the court, McNeil Daniel was the founder and CEO of JD² Strategists, LLC in Dayton, Ohio. She also previously served as of counsel for the law firm of Crabbe, Brown & James in Columbus, Ohio.[1]
