A River Valley School District bond election was on the August 5, 2008 ballot in the River Valley public school district, located in Michigan, where it was defeated.
The election was scheduled by a vote of the district's school board.
The ballot question facing voters was whether to approve new district indebtedness of $17 million for the purposes of "Erecting, furnishing and equipping a new elementary school; developing and equipping playgrounds and an athletic field; erecting, furnishing and equipping an addition to and partially remodeling, furnishing and refurnishing, and equipping and re-equipping the middle/high school; acquiring and installing education technology; and developing and improving sites."
