Two Riverside School District Levy Replacement measure was on the February 14, 2012 ballot in the Riverside school district area which is in Pend Oreille and Spokane Counties.
Both measures were defeated
The first measure sought to replace the current school operations levy which is set to expire with one set at a rate of $3.91 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further three years in order to continue to pay for general fund maintenance and operational costs in the district.[1]
The second measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of $1.46 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of four years in order to pay for capital projects and technology improvements in the district.[2]
