Rob Collins is a lobbyist for the lobbying firm S-3 Group. Collins was a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team, a group of advisors tasked with recommending presidential appointments for the incoming administration.[1]
Career
Rob Collins has served as the executive director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. He has also worked for the political consulting firm Purple Strategies and served as the head of the American Action Network. He worked under former Congressman Eric Cantor (R-Va.) as his chief of staff.[2]
During the 2016 election cycle, Collins was an advisor, fundraiser, and board member for the super PAC Future 45, which supported Donald Trump's bid for president. The committee was backed by Joe Ricketts and Sheldon Adelson, according to Politico.[3]
Collins is a lobbyist for the government relations firm S-3 Group. Collins' clients include Google, JPMorgan, the United Launch Alliance, and the Council for Investor Rights and Corporate Accountability.[3][2]
Donald Trump presidential transition team, 2016-2017
Collins was a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team in his first presidential term. The transition team was a group of around 100 aides, policy experts, government affairs officials, and former government officials who were tasked with vetting, interviewing, and recommending individuals for top cabinet and staff roles in Trump's administration. He was the team's personnel advisor.
